Color Coated Coil

Product brief

The color coated coil takes the hot-dip galvanized sheets and hot-dip aluminized zinc sheets as substrates. After surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatments), one or more layers of organic coating are applied to the surface, and then baked and cured to form the product.  It also gets its name because it is coated with various colors of organic coatings, so it is called colored steel coil.

As for the color coating steel strips using the hot-dip galvanized steel strips as the substrate, except for the zinc layer protection, the organic coating on the zinc layer serves as a covering and protection function to prevent the steel strip from rusting. The service life is longer than that of the galvanized strip, about 1.5 times.

Applications

The color coated coils have light weight, beautiful appearance and good anti-corrosion performance, and can be processed directly. Generally the colors are divided into gray, sea blue, and brick red. They are mainly used in advertising, construction, home appliances, electrical appliances, furniture, and transportation industries.  
For the paints used by the color coated coils, appropriate resins are selected according to different use environments, such as polyester silicon modified polyester, polyvinyl chloride plastisol, polyvinylidene chloride, etc. Users can select according to the usage.
